Community Developments

Kōhanga Reo and Early Childhood Centres

EasyBuild provides an excellent option for Kōhanga Reo and Early Childhood Centres, with existing designs for 30, 40 and 50 tamariki. Our Kōhanga Reo design features a large multi-purpose area for the Kōhanga, separate kitchen, dining area, sleeping room, staff room, office, accessible bathroom facilities, an entry hall and storage.

Papakāinga

EasyBuild homes are a practical, quality solution for papakāinga, with our fast on-site build and wide range of designs offering you affordable, quality, warm and energy efficient housing, quickly. They have the look and feel of traditional whare, with exposed rafters and raised ceilings throughout. Our unique construction method and partial off-site build means that on-site construction is quick and local iwi can support the build process.

Community Centres

Our open plan hall, Amberley, at 100.5m2 is perfect for community centres of all kinds. Featuring a clear floor space with no pillars to disrupt floor space or obstruct any views, Amberley boasts a kitchen, accessible bathroom facilities and a large multi-purpose area. It’s perfectly suited for a variety of purposes - as a town hall or meeting hall, classroom, office, club house and more.

Maraes and Wharenui

EasyBuild provides a great solution for Maraes and Wharenui of all sizes. Our quality designs are warm, energy efficient and low maintenance, designed for long term use, and our unique construction method means your Wharenui can be ready for use faster. The look and feel of EasyBuild’s designs suits the traditional style of Wharenui with raised ceilings and exposed rafters throughout.

We’re proud to have supported Kokohinau Marae with emergency housing. Our Bay of Plenty team completed a Full Build service for the construction and completion of five top quality homes in our Wanaka design, that will stand the test of time, all in just 15 weeks.

In June 2019, this multi-build project was the joint winner of the Australasian Housing Institute (AHI) Professional Excellence in Housing NZ Award for Excellence in Social Housing.
